Bitlink Bytes Regional Roadshow 2025

Exciting news: We’re taking our Bitlink Bytes school holiday programmes on the road!
We’re pleased to announce that Bitlink was the recipient of a community STEM engagement grant provided by the federal government. This means that during every School Holiday period until June 2026 we will be offering FREE technology workshops to young people across Tasmania!
First stop: North-West & West-Coast of Tasmania! (April 2025)
Second Stop: North & North-East Coast of Tasmania! (July 2025)
We are partnering with Libraries Tasmania to deliver this program and will visit regional libraries and community spaces in every corner of the state. The workshops are designed to give young people a taste of technology skills. Working with our project partners, we’re offering a range of activities, including coding, electronics, game design and content creation. Participants will get to explore these topics, but also leave with something that they can continue working on using accessible web-based tools to keep developing their skills.
This program is also supported by Children's University, and participants can earn hours (and a special sticker) towards their passports! Bring along your passports and show them to a staff member upon arrival.
The following are the programs we are delivering in the coming weeks. If you are intending to come along, please book a ticket by clicking on the links below.
We'd love to see you there!
